Keep St. Pete Lit Book Club has a home at the Museum of Fine Arts in downtown St. Petersburg! Joining forces with the MFA, our book club connects the visual arts with the literary arts. Each month’s featured book ties in with a work in the museum’s collection or a special exhibition.
ALL are welcome to these exciting, engaging and slightly different takes on the usual book club discussions.
Free with museum admission ($5 after 5pm on Thursdays and free all year round for museum members). Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information, or feel free to read the book and just come along!

This month: Some readers think “A Good Man is Hard to Find” is a cynical tale, uncompromising in the way it brings out human pettiness and manipulation. Others think it’s a black comedy worthy of a Coen brothers short film, or a twisted cartoon. Or perhaps it’s a horror story. Still others think it’s an uplifting depiction of the mysterious ways God works through human beings over and above their own wills. Maybe it’s even all of these at once? This book resonates with the photos and writings from the 3rd Annual SunLit Festival’s Carousel event that will be on exhibit in the Miriam F. Acheson Gallery.
